Fun & Educational Nutritional Workshops for Children

We run interactive and fun workshops in schools & nurseries for children. Our aim is to make a lasting difference to children's lives and to their health by encouraging the children themselves to ask for healthy foods and by helping to show their parents some healthy alternatives that their children enjoy.

The goals of our workshops :

• To broaden children's experience of food, to give them the opportunity to try new healthy foods and introduce them to the relationship between health and food.
• Our workshops offer parents ideas to help improve and broaden their children's diet by suggesting healthy & tasty alternatives to the high-sugar, or processed food which often form a substantial part of children's diets. 
• During our workshops, children discover through their senses dishes and foods that most have not previously tried at home, and learn why these foods are good for them in an engaging and educational way.  

Kids can learn good nutrition

Young children usually have limited prior nutritional awareness, however studies show that kids as young as 3 are able to grasp concepts relating to eating behaviour and health.

My workshops change children's diets 

Children enjoy these sessions and many parents have told me that their children ask for some food they have tried in our workshops once they get home; We are aware of numerous examples of these workshops having a lasting influence on the food that children subsequently eat.

Each child take home a personalised colourful and informative hand-out which indicates to each child's parents :

• which food their child did/did not like
• the nutritional benefits of each food tried by their child
• how to include each item in their child's diet

These workshops are adapted to different age groups and start from nursery level.
